  • Sign in using Discord OAuth2.
  • Create a server listing, submit a review, or bump a server.
  • Browse our website, during which standard browser cookies may be collected.

  • To operate and deliver the Service.
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the platform.
  • To detect and prevent violations of these Terms.
  • To gather anonymized statistics that cannot be tied to any individual.

Your data is securely stored with third-party hosting providers. We retain your data until you explicitly request its deletion.

    • The applicant was previously removed for violating these Terms.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for how you use CastorBoard and what you post.

  • You are fully responsible for your conduct on the platform and any consequences that arise from it.
  • All content you submit is your responsibility. We are not liable for user-generated content.
  • Any costs or legal consequences resulting from defamatory posts, privacy violations, or copyright infringement are yours to bear.

Prohibited Acts

Certain behaviors will not be tolerated on CastorBoard.

Violations may result in content removal, restricted access, suspension, or permanent removal from the platform. We are not obligated to disclose the reasons for any action taken.

  • Violating our Community Guidelines.
  • Posting content that includes:
    • Child sexual abuse material or content that violates applicable laws.
    • Defamatory or personally identifying information about others.
    • Anything we determine to be harmful or inappropriate.
  • Reproducing content from CastorBoard without permission from the creator or us.
  • Using bots or automated scripts to interact with the Service in any way, including auto-bumping.
  • Any action that violates applicable law, these Terms, or the rights of others.
  • Placing unreasonable load on our infrastructure or attempting to disrupt the Service.

Service Modification

We can change, pause, or shut down the Service at any time.

  • We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service without prior notice.
  • We are not liable for any disruption, loss, or inconvenience resulting from changes to the Service.

Fees

CastorBoard is free to use. A premium tier is available with additional benefits.

The core CastorBoard service is free for all users. We offer an optional premium membership which provides the following benefits:

  • Reduced bump cooldown times - premium members can bump their servers more frequently than standard users.
  • Priority placement - premium server listings receive elevated visibility in the browse hierarchy.
  • Additional features as they are introduced.

Pricing, conditions, and full details for the premium tier are described separately and are subject to change. Purchasing a premium membership constitutes acceptance of those additional terms.

Data License

You own what you post. By posting it here, you give us permission to display it as part of the Service.

  • You retain copyright over any content you submit to CastorBoard.
  • By posting content, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and modify that content as necessary to operate the Service.
  • We may use or adapt user-submitted content to maintain and improve the platform.

Disclaimer

We are not liable for damages. Not acting on a right does not mean we have given it up.

  • Disputes between users are theirs to resolve. We do not mediate and accept no responsibility for them.
  • The Service is provided on an "as is" basis. We make no guarantees of uptime, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
  • We are not responsible for user-generated content, though we will take reasonable steps to remove content that violates these Terms.
  • We may remove content, restrict access, or terminate accounts where we believe a violation has occurred or may occur. We are not liable for any loss resulting from such actions.
  • Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on any occasion does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

Validity of the Terms
